These warm and comfortable apartments can be found in this attractive Tuscan setting, encircled by inviting vineyards, olive groves and woodland. You are able to observe and follow the different activities associated with the changing seasons of the countryside; the pruning of the vines, grape-picking and more besides, experiencing true Tuscan farm-life.
You will find an open-air swimming pool in the garden, just a few metres from the apartments, with parasols and sun beds. A decorative fence encloses the pool to ensure your total privacy. You can also organise a barbecue with friends or relax in the greenery, where tables, chairs and a gazebo have been placed in the shade of the regal cypress trees. Wine tasting opportunities are also available.

The Ciappi family have been cultivating the land for 3 generations and are successful exporters of their exquisite quality wines, which you can savour whilst overlooking the vineyards from which they came.

Room information
All apartments have a characteristic Tuscan decor with cotto floors and wood furniture. All kitchens are fully-equipped with cooking facilities and utensils.
The apartments for 2 people are approximately 40 m² in size and feature a double bedroom, bathroom with shower and a spacious open-plan kitchen / lounge, which has been furnished with a sofa bed for a 3rd person.
The apartment for 4 people is approximately 55 m² in size and consists of 2 bedrooms (one double, one twin), bathroom with shower, open-plan lounge / kitchen, and a spacious terrace with a panoramic view. There is also a sofa bed for a 5th person.
Bed linen and towels are changed on a weekly basis and the independent heating is inclusive of the rate.

During your stay, you can immerse yourself in an abundance of art, culture, music and fabulous shopping, returning to the wonderful peace and tranquillity of your apartment at the end of your exciting day. The apartments are close to Certaldo, which is the birth place of Boccaccio, a famous Italian writer, and San Gimignano, with its unique medieval architecture and towers. You can also visit picturesque Volterra and, of course, 2 of Italy’s major cities of art, Siena and Florence.

By Car:
- From Florence, via Firenze Certosa, take the Firenze - Siena motorway towards Siena.
- Get off at Poggibonsi Nord and take the road to Certaldo.
- From Certaldo, head towards San Gimignano.
- After 4 km on the main road, turn right for Lucignano - Casa Alle Vacche and continue for 1.8 km.
- From Rome, take the Napoli - Milano motorway towards Milano and get off at Firenze Certosa.
- From Certaldo, follow the directions above.
- From Pisa, take the Firenze - Pisa - Livorno motorway towards Firenze.
- Get off at Empoli Ovest - Ponte a Elsa.
- From Ponte a Elsa, head to Certaldo on SS 429 road.
- From Certaldo, head towards San Gimignano and follow the above directions from Florence.
- From San Gimignano, head towards Certaldo.
- After 8 km on the main road, turn left for Lucignano - Casa Alle Vacche and continue for 1.8 km.
